Registration is now open for the seventh annual Bluegrass Leather Pride weekend, celebrating Leather and Kink in Louisville, Kentucky. Join us from March 3rd – 5th 2017 for an event to remember. Our theme for this year is ONE SMALL STEP. Use hashtag #onesmallstep to share your event photos and social media.

Why one small step? Because we want to encourage you to take one small step, to get involved, to get moving, to come out and walk with us. We want to encourage you to step up and be counted, to put boots to the ground and join us in a celebration of the unique, of Leather and of Kink.

Think you’re not welcome if you’re not Leather?  Take one small step and join us – we promise you’re welcome.

What can you expect at Bluegrass Leather Pride 2017, besides a great time?

We’ll open Friday with a couple of free classes and then our Meet and Greet at the Pride bar in New Albany. We’ll be introducing the folks who’ll be competing for Bluegrass Leather Pride titles. The winners of our contest will be representing the local community and state, then competing in Indianapolis in October, at the Great Lakes Leather Alliance. We’ll have jello shots and an auction or two, too, to keep things interesting. #onesmallstep

Come Saturday we’ll have a line up of classes at our all-new venue, The Cure Lounge, including our popular Leather history class. In keeping with our tradition, we’ll have home-baked goodies and sweets as well as a food truck. We’ll have silent auction items for you to fill your closet and your toy chest both, as well as a few other surprises. #onesmallstep

Come evening, we’ll be bringing you the Bluegrass Leather Pride contest, hosted by Louisville’s own Dynamic Duo, Ms Constance and Ms Tammy. We’ll have hot folks, hot leather, and hot times ahead, we promise. At the end, we’ll sash our new titleholders and then the victory celebration begins. #onesmallstep

Finally, you can expect a world-class brunch from The Bristol. If you’ve been, no more words are needed. If not, you need to join us. We’ll have our keynote speaker, IML 2006, owner of International Leather Sir, Leather boy and International Community Bootblack, Jeffrey Payne. We’ll also be doing our traditional presentation of earned Leather. #onesmallstep
